Michael Martin
Michael, a guitarist of twenty years, began his studies on the classical guitar and before long had taken in the techniques & styles of acoustic and electric guitar. At the centre of his guitar playing experience was being a member of a well established music group, performing widely and recording frequently as both a guitarist and singer.
Alongside his guitar playing, Michael is also a trained pianist and teacher of music theory, progressing through the ABRSM system.
He believes firmly in the importance of young students receiving the highest standard of tuition right from the beginning and this is achieved by organised and structured one to one lessons, with strong support and encouragement for home practice. Equally, adult students have benefited greatly from this approach to teaching.
